It never even occurred to me that actors had websites. I came across this little entry about Jim Carrey’s official web page. It’s absolutely ridiculous in a good, making fun of himself kind of way. What do you think? Check out the page here.
So the Phillies are going to the World Series yet again. Last night was a blast. Broad Street was completely packed & the city of Philadelphia was preparing all day for it. Greasing poles, barricading the streets, and lining up the sidewalks with S.W.A.T. Great job Philadelphia. No not great job. Tons of people arrested & beaten up for no good reason. From where I was situated, which was right near City Hall, no one was getting out of hand. No one was flipping cars, lighting shit on fire, or smashing bottles. No, everyone was just having a great time celebrating. The cops decided to take it to the next level by arresting anyone who decided to come close to them. One of our close friends was taking pictures, legally documenting the action, not intoxicated when the po-po decided he was a threat & threw him to the ground smashing his camera, beating up his face, & arresting him.
FOX News in New York did a little excerpt on the whole situation last night & pinned us out to be lewd, stupid, unruly, drunk fans who have no respect for our city. I’m completely furious with the way the police handled last night & hope someone addresses it. As for the fans who were near the stadium, you were a whole different story than the people who were celebrating near City Hall.
This is absolutely ridiculous & unreal. Sometime last year, due to Philadelphia’s huge amount of debt, the city was forced to close some local small libraries. Some of them were spared & some were not. Now they’ve decided to close one of the most recognized and well used libraries in the city, The Free Library of Philadelphia. Get the full 411 on the FLP website. You will be absolutely shocked to see not only the library itself close, but a lot of after-school programs. This is a very sad day The system will officially be closed on October 2nd.

TrickGo is owned and operated by a handful of full time college students. We started TrickGo in 2007 selling handprinted t-shirts to our friends, all out of a tiny freshman dorm. In 3 years TrickGo has grown into a small Philadelphia based collective with a clothing company, boutique, and gallery. We currently host monthly events showcasing up and coming local artists.
