iPad — Review

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Well, the iPad has been unveiled. From what I read and saw, it’s basically a big iPhone. There are some disappointments and some cool things though.

(Don’t wanna read all this? It’s pretty, costs 499-829 depending on wifi or 3G, it’s still At&t, but you can sign up via the iPad and cancel any time (yeah okay…), no camera, no flash.)

Live Coverage: Apple’s Press Conference

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Too bad I’m not in California right now, but Wired Magazine is offering all of us that couldn’t make it the next best thing–live coverage of the event. What’s big in this conference? Well, if you’ve been under a rock somewhere, check out the Apple Tablet, rumored to be called the iSlate or (guh) iPad.

So what’s so great about the Apple Tablet? Well, every hardware buff out there is saying it’s the future of electronics, a way to combine so many things into one piece of equipment. I gotta say, it would be cool to carry this thing around and use it like a personal computer, but it all depends on what features it has, thus why I’m very excited for the press conference.

The conference will start 10am Pacific time, meaning 1pm for all of us here on the East coast. You can check out full coverage brought to you by Wired Magazine here.
