The man who brought you the vaccum manuveured by a rotatoing sphere, now has reinvented the classic table fan. Famed industrial designer (and vacuum fanatic) James Dyson and his crew have revealed an entirely new kind of fan. The Dyson Air Multiplier Fan works by drawing air into its base, accelerating it with an internal jet and forcing it toward its focal point. At the same time, the Air Multiplier draws adjacent air into its stream and sending it toward the target– at a combined rate of 119 gallons per second.
PUNCH Camera

Very strange but kind of cool. The PUNCH camera lets you take a picture, take a piece of paper, & punch it like a hole puncher. The punch aligns a set of pins and then uses the force of the user to perforate a regular piece of paper.This idea was sparked by the fact that memories, in this case pictures, are easily lost & difficult to replicate.

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009Because of the last post I discovered an amazing, amazing designer who created a lot of the “Where The Wild Things” costumes. Her name is Christian Joy & she’s more notably responsible for Karen O’s, lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, tour costumes. I’m totally in love with this girl’s style and innovative design. Basically these are Lady GaGa costumes with a lot more class, sense, & thought. Check it out.
