Filmmaker plans to replace prosthetic eye with a webcam

Rob Spence, a 36-year old Canadian filmmaker, has been living with a prosthetic eye for several years. So recently he’s made the choice or replacing it  a wireless camera so he can film anytime, anywhere, just by looking around. If the transplant proves successful he plans to take his career to live web cam status. [Wired]

Trek Bikes have released two models that use a belt drive, a rubber pulley system, instead of the standard chain. The longer lasting carbon-fiber won’t rust, can’t be cut, & won’t leave grease marks around your ankles. Though they are not the first company to do this, they are the first to mass-produce it. The District is their single-speed & The Soho is their eight-speed.
