Pretzel & Crossbones

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

I literally just locked my bike up next to another bike with this awesome sticker on it: a pretzel & crossbones. Apparently it represents the South Philly Bike Gang & I’m not even going to lie, I kind of want in! But really i just want one of these sweet stickers.

Dear South Philly Bike Gang, I’m down for what ever initiation ritual I have to go through to get one. Get at me.

Nokia: The World’s Biggest Signpost

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

Nokia wanted to promote their phones navigation technology by integrating the idea of social networking and live sharing. What they came up with was a giant sign post in the middle of London that turned 360 degrees. When you texted a specific location to it, the giant arrow would turn and point in that direction along with a brief description of where, what, & how far away that destination was. Check it out:

Imogen Heap’s Twitter Dress

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Ok so Lady GaGa awed us with her jaw dropping, head scratching outfits. Even Rhianna went a little outrageous too. But one woman had the dress to beat all crazy dresses. Even though we didn’t see much of Miss Imogen Heap on the red carpet, she actually won a Grammy earlier today for Best Engineered Album.

But she also wins a fashion award for her “Twitter Dress,” a piece of clothing that had it’s own wi-fi signal & had constant  Twitter messages scrolling across it whenever anyone inserted #twitdress within their tweets. That insane collar she’s wearing is where the messages were displayed. I must say though, wouldn’t it have been more practical to wear it as a belt? But then again, what is practical anymore. iPad — Review

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Well, the iPad has been unveiled. From what I read and saw, it’s basically a big iPhone. There are some disappointments and some cool things though.

(Don’t wanna read all this? It’s pretty, costs 499-829 depending on wifi or 3G, it’s still At&t, but you can sign up via the iPad and cancel any time (yeah okay…), no camera, no flash.)
