LG unveiled a solar powered cell phone this week, due to be released in Europe later this year. The phone isn’t the quickest to charge, ten minutes of sunlight equals three minutes of talk time, but its a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, now it’s harder to tell people that you didn’t call them back because your “phone ran out of batteries.” [OhGizmo!]
