This is going to be a long one, bear with me…

We mentioned this earlier in the month but now we have all the proper documents, information, blah blah blah. We’re are calling all interested artists to participate in our first ever TrickGo Zine Sale on May 1st at our Pine Street store.

We’ve split this event into two parts. From 12-4pm will be our official zine yard sale where all zines/prints/paintings/and other art related paraphernalia will be on display and for sale. Along with that will be free treats and drinks, tunes, and a collaborative zine project where we will be providing paper & various drawing matters so that you can doodle away. We will later be putting it all together to make a unique zine that we will be selling/giving away for part two.

For part two: we’ll recommence for an the official Collaborative Zine Release Party. At this point we’ll have put all your drawings put together to make the official collaborative zine. From 7-10pm we’ll be dishing out brews, listening to more tunes, & we will have everyone’s zines/artwork on display and still available for purchase throughout the evening. We are also asking for donations of work to give away for a raffle we will be having later as well.

All potential-participating artists, this part is for you!

This is purely for fun, 100% of the profits you make go straight back to you! We’ve created a PDF (see below) of all of the info for the event! If you are still interested in participating, please review all the information, deadlines, and the artist contracts. For the event, we will be selling your work behind the counter and you, the artist will be receiving 100% of the commission. Because of this, we need you to make sure you have the contracts signed and turned into us by April 25th April 27th and all artwork by April 29th. No late artwork or contracts will be accepted.

UPDATE: You can submit your contracts via e-mail! Just print, write on it, scan it, and send it to us before Tuesday night.

For those of you that have multiple submissions, we will have 5 spots open for artists to occupy their own table space during the event. We unfortunately have limited room inside and outside of our store. We also anticipate many artists submitting their work, therefore we can’t allow every artist to occupy a designated table space. Your work will still be on display & available for purchase no matter what though. And we still welcome each artist to come and hang out, enjoy treats, meet new people, and enjoy each others art.

Everyone is also welcome to trade zines with each other at your own discretion.
